Lots of stuff lol

when I was reallly really little I think the first person I listened to was Mary J. Blige. Also Toni Braxton, TLC, all that old school stuff. I also listened to a lot of Tupac, Jay Z, Nas, Bone Thugs ect ect… and Spice girls LOL…. A lot of black music. my parents wanted us to be able to relate to the African Americans around us I think, being that we were Kenyans in America

You don’t have to be a good artist to be able to have a good eye for art. However, if you’re an artist and you’re giving someone advice that you don’t apply to your own work, you 
1. lose credibility and 
2. look as if you have ulterior motives with the advice you give, like to feel better about your own limitations by nit picking.
But I personally will take advice from anyone. If I feel its applicable, I’ll take it. If i disagree, I disagree. :)
